How do I redeem or use a promo code?
To redeem a Promo Code follow these instructions:
*Note - Promo codes are currently only available to be redeemed on the web. You can not redeem a promo code from within the App. Vote this feature up.
From the Main Web Store:
- Go to http://thesnippetapp.com/web and login using the login button on the top right.
- Search for the Snippet or Writer you are looking for and click on them.
From the Writers Page:
- Find the Snippet you are looking for and click "Buy Now"
- If not Logged In, Login or Signup.
- You will then see a Credit Card form, find "Promo Code?" just above the "Buy Now" button and click it.
- Enter the promo code
- If successful you will see the a green message and the green border around the promo code, as well as the new price in the "Buy Now" button.
Success:
- If you successfully entered a promo code for a discount between 5% to 95%, you can then continue filling out the credit card form and complete your purchase.
- If you successfully entered a promo code for a discount of 100%, you can click the "Get it Free Now!" button and ignore filling out the credit card form.
Errors:
- If you get an "Invalid Promo Code" message check to make sure you have entered the promo code correctly. Check your spelling.
- If you get a "Max redemptions reached" the maximum number of promo codes have been used. This code is no longer valid. If you believe this should still be valid, contact the writer who provided the promo code.
- If you get a "Promo code has expired" this code has reached its expiration date and is no longer valid. If you believe this should still be valid, contact the writer who provided the promo code.
